DONATE TO NICARAGUA – CUBA SOLIDARITY FOR MARCH 21 GLOBAL CONVOY TO CUBA!

The St. Paul the Apostle Christian Base Community in Managua collects material aid to ship to Cuba.

Dear Nicaragua supporter,

We urgently ask:  Will you join Nicaragua and its people as they offer courageous, generous solidarity with Cuba during the humanitarian crisis provoked by US economic warfare?

The Nicaragua Solidarity Coalition has long been working with other activists to end US economic coercive measures against Nicaragua, Cuba and other countries. Now that the US government is ramping up the blockade on Cuba to include an oil embargo, we are responding by sending material aid. In Nicaragua, people are busy collecting medicines, food, and other needed supplies to send to the island.

If you live or work in Nicaragua, please join that effort!  Bring donations to San Pablo Apostle CEB in the 14 de septiembre neighborhood of Managua. Call Yamil for more information: 8876-7461.

People in other countries—even the United States—can join this Nicaragua-Cuba solidarity action by contributing to a charitable organization licensed by the US government to send medical supplies in compliance with the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). We have selected the Hatuey Project, which provides Cuban children with cancer medicines that are otherwise unavailable. Since the largest study ever done on the impacts of economic sanctions determined that they cause over a quarter million deaths of children under 5 every year around the world, donating to the Hatuey Project is one way to counteract the harms caused by US economic warfare.

We seek to raise $10,000 for the Hatuey Project as our contribution to the

Nuestra América Global Convoy to Cuba on March 21.

To help us meet this ambitious goal, we have a matching grant of $2,500. Once we collect the first $2,500 from individual donors such as you, we will be halfway to our goal!

Please DONATE to our spring 2026 campaign to raise $10,000

for Cuba’s youngest cancer patients!

(please leave the comment box blank, or just write Hatuey)

If you prefer to send your donation via check, please email clarkgollub@gmail.com for instructions.

The Hatuey Project is licensed by the US Department of Commerce to send medical supplies to Cuba, in compliance with the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Read more about the Hatuey Project here.
