Dear Member of Congress/Senator:

I am writing to draw your attention to a US policy that is killing a quarter million or more children per year and causing as many overall deaths

as armed conflict. This is the policy of imposing unilateral economic sanctions, which our government currently has in place against some 40

countries, or one-third of the world’s population. This child-killing practice must stop!

I urge you to attend the House briefing on “Humanitarian Impacts of Economic Sanctions, Particularly Increased Child Deaths. Cuba as a Case

Study,” to be hosted by Congresswoman Delia Ramírez at 1:00pm on April 22 in Cannon House Office Building, Room 340.

Also, Vote Yes on the United States-Cuba Trade Act of 2026 to fully lift the embargo on Cuba, H.R.7521 and S.136, and consider co-sponsoring.

AND support H.Res.1056 to end the Monroe Doctrine and all economic sanctions.

Thank you,

Your constituent ________.
